Due to the poor visibility in a rainy afternoon, she went over a road reflector stud and fell. The incident resulted her to suffer abrasions on her limbs and fractur to her left wrist. She was grateful that NDCA had accepted and approved her WIRS application. She complimented that the disbursement of the $250 FairPrice vouchers from NDCA was prompt and the benevolent gesture would tide her over while recuperating.

Render injured himself on January 25th after tripping over a pothole on the road near 254 Bukit Batok while riding a PAB to deliver his order. He was given a 9-day MC. His left hand was severely injured, requiring surgery, with a recovery time of 2 months. As his wedding is set in 2024, the Short-Term Accident Relief (STAR) fund came in handy for him and he is thankful for it. Render also serves as a spokesperson for NDCA to promote safety and by encouraging other riders to purchase Personal Accident insurance.

A food delivery rider, Joshua, recently received our Work-Injury Relief Scheme (WIRS) payout of $250 FairPrice Vouchers after injuring himself while on the job. NDCA personally delivered the claims payout to Joshua at his convenience, ensuring he got the support he needed without any hassle.

Joshua first got to know about NDCA last year when he was injured and received our Short-Term Accident Relief (STAR), which provided him with $50 FairPrice vouchers.

Grant started food delivery work after being retrenched from the hotel sector due to COVID-19. He was injured while doing his delivery. He lost control of his PMD and his ankle got cut against the bike chain. As a result, he couldn’t walk for a few days.

Mr. Qian was involved in a collision with a car while making a delivery, sustaining multiple bruises and cuts on arm, leg and back from the fall.

Mr. Tan was a victim of a hit and run accident at Scotts Road and he realised while looking through social media that NDCA was able to provide relief for accidents and injuries that happened at work.

In early April 2025, Mr. Tng was involved in a road accident while delivering food at NTU. Thankfully, NDCA was able to step in with our Work Injury Relief Scheme (WIRS), helping to ease his financial burden during recovery from two surgeries and 21 days of medical leave.

Mr. Mustaffa met with an accident at NTU, which caused him to be injured at his left knee. He first joined NDCA at the Rider's Appreciation event organised by NDCA with the support of McDonald's and Singapore Kindness Movement. From then, he has always been encouraging riders to join NDCA so that they are protected.
